Under the Baptist denomination, the visionary leader, having heard the clarion call from God to go forth and organize a new church, submits a proposal to his Pastor. Upon approval, the visionary leader prays for God to send like-minded followers to start the mission work. Under the guidance of the pastor or a denomination designee, the mission work is dedicated and commissioned to go forth with the visionary leader serving as the official leader.
