Our History

Under the Baptist denomination, the visionary leader, having heard the clarion call from God to go forth and organize a new church, submits a proposal to his Pastor. Upon approval, the visionary leader prays for God to send like-minded followers to start the mission work. Under the guidance of the pastor or a denomination designee, the mission work is dedicated and commissioned to go forth with the visionary leader serving as the official leader.

On December 5, 2014, Our New Work proposal was approved.

On December 10, 2014, Our Denominational Designee was assigned and prayer and planning began

On February 14, 2015, New Victory held it Vision meeting at Perryville Library

On March 11, 2015, Our first Bible Study was held at the Sheppard’s Residence

On March 15, 2015, Our First Worship Service was held at the Sheppard’s Residence

On April 15, 2015, We moved New Victory Christian Center to 304 Aiken Ave.

On April 26, 2015 New Victory Christian Centers mission work was dedicated and commissioned to go forth with our visionary leader serving as our official leader.

On June we received the IRS our 501c3 Determination Letter

On July 15th we took additional space for worship services.

On September 2016 we opened our emergency food pantry for working families in partnership with Food Lion.

On Februry 2016 Our own baptismal pool arrived

On March 2016 we held our first Baptismal service.

On March 2016 we became Food Network Partners with the Maryland Food bank.

On Today, April 17, 2016 New Victory Christian Center will be Set Apart as New Victory Christian Church and our visionary leader and mission Pastor will be installed to the Biblical office of Pastor.

On May of 2017 our praise team was formed

On February 2018 We took on addtional space for our fellowship hall and victory cafe.

On October of 2018 our first ministry directors where installed
