Are you thinking of visiting New Victory? If so, we hope the following information will give you a better idea of what to expect. We understand that visiting a new church can be intimidating, so we will do our best to help you feel comfortable and at home with us.
When are services?
Services are on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am and Bible Study Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm. They take place in the New Victory Sanctuary, located just to your left as you enter our main doors.
What should I wear?
We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are delighted that you are visiting with us and want you to be able to focus on the worship experience as we celebrate our savior Jesus Christ more than what you're wearing. You can expect to see people wearing jeans, sandals, and even shorts. While others prefer to still put on their "Sunday best," and that's fine too! We think you will fit in no matter how you are dressed.
Where do my children go?
VictoryKids sit with parents or guardians throughout worship service. Children's activity sheets are provided for enjoyment and to aid them in following and participating with us in worship. Nursery space is provide next to Sanctuary entrance for your convenience. Stay tuned for more activities for VictoryKids.
What are our services like?
Our Sunday morning worship experience is a blend of tradition and contemporary worship complemented by both contemporary Christian and gospel music. You’ll hear hymns, spirituals, modern songs for worship, led by both the worship team and victory choir. Our Wednesday Bible fellowship focuses on growing together as a community one book and one chapter of the Bible at a time; while progressing verse by verse to ensure the Word of God is understood contextually for relevant application in to our lives.
Am I expected to put money in the offering?
If you are visiting with us, we are prepared to receive any offering that the Lord has moved your heart to give, but don't expect you to put money in the offering, and you are welcome to just let it pass you by. We hope that your experience with us will be gift to you and your family.
Where should I park?
We have designated special parking spaces for our first time visitors that are only a few steps from our main entrance. We also have a great crew of cheerful and enthusiastic parking greeters who will quickly and efficiently guide you through the parking process. Simply turn into our driveway and someone will be standing there to guide you. Don’t be fooled if you see cars parked on the street, we have plenty of spots in at the public parking area across the street from the church.
